Resources for discovery of existing ontologies

I'm looking into pharmocopeia ontologies for a colleague, the domain would be veterinary medicine rather than human. Can anybody recommend a discovery site for such?

2	There are several places where you can look for existing ontologies, here's a few: http://ws.nju.edu.cn/falcons/ontologysearch/index.jsp http://lov.okfn.org/dataset/lov/ link answered 16 Jan, 11:04 lmatteis 1.1k●1●7 accept rate: 15%

In your case, might also be worth browsing through the ontologies/datasets available on CKAN for BioPortal (as well as Linking Open Data).

Had a quick look at LOD already but I'll go back. BioPortal look promising. I think I may need to bring my colleague's expertise in at this stage.
