@nivi, welcome to Please take a moment to read, as it contains some helpful tips on how to use this site productively.

In particular, please consider that some questions may be easily answered by just typing them into Google and/or reading the product's documentation. Those kinds of questions should not really be asked here. Generally, in your question show that you've made some effort to find the answer yourself.

Please do not edit your question to alter its meaning after it has been answered. This way, the answers that were previously given no longer make sense. If you have a new question, just create a new question instead. Thanks.

(edit this was an answer to earlier version of this question, about the difference between .pprj and .owl files)

As explained on the Protege-OWL Getting Started page, under the heading "Understanding your project", a .pprj file is a project file, and the .owl file is the ontology source file. Your second question makes no sense: both files play different roles, you can't convert one into the other.

No need to call me 'sir' :) and I would help you if I could, but I have no experience with Protege's database backend I'm afraid.

i ve just created an ontology for a tourism application..i'm willing to create a semantic based website but i dont know how to proceed further...the info i gathered based on databases says that the protege OWL when converted to protege databases a table wil be created with sub as primary key,and names and values of object and predicate in remaining columns will it helps me for my work...
